You can add and manage multiple email addresses on your Sermo account from Account Settings > Sign In & Security.
Adding multiple email addresses can help you maintain access to your account, improve security, and ensure you continue receiving important communications if you change jobs, retire an email address, or lose access to an existing inbox.
Why Add Multiple Email Addresses?
There are several benefits to associating multiple email addresses with your Sermo account:
- Stay Connected Through Career Changes. Healthcare professionals often change employers, practices, hospitals, or institutions. Adding additional email addresses helps ensure you can continue accessing your Sermo account even if you lose access to a work or academic email address.
- Improve Account Security. Every email address added to your account must be verified before it can be used. Additional verified email addresses also support enhanced account security features, including verification codes and two-factor authentication (2FA), helping protect your account from unauthorized access.
- Simplify Account Recovery. If you forget your password or can no longer access your primary email address, having additional verified email addresses associated with your account can make it easier to regain access.
- Manage Everything in One Account. Instead of creating multiple Sermo accounts for different email addresses, you can keep all of your verified email addresses connected to a single profile.
How Many Email Addresses Can I Add?
You can associate up to 10 email addresses with your Sermo account.
One email address must be designated as your Primary Email Address.
